MENULOG x ORIGIN 2021
We recruited NRL’s most famous trash talkers to deliver a host of text sledges during Origin 2021 and gave Aussies the chance to have their own sledges air in the 3 match series too.
It felt like State of Origin was getting a bit stale and needed to bring back some good old fashioned sledging. It was time to deliver what the people wanted, when they wanted. In a first ever innovation with Channel 9, Menulog created twenty contextual and unique TV ads and a series hyper-urgent social videos that reacted live to Origin gameplay and historical rivalry. A few lucky fans on Twitter whom engaged with our #OriginSnackdown campaign got their sledges featured in our ads.
