The latest songs, movies, and games were represented as emojis for users to decode.
Google wanted to encourage downloads of digital content over the holiday period. We launched a social campaign on Twitter that used various Emoji combinations of different music, movies and games. Users who guessed the correct answers unlocked discounts and gift cards. Click rate to the store doubled.
